Touring preparation is about looking at how the whole vehicle is set up for distance, load and the roads ahead.
- Pre-trip inspection. We check for maintenance needs, visible wear and issues that could become more inconvenient once you are away from town. The findings help prioritise what needs attention before departure.
- Wheel alignment and balancing. Correct alignment and balanced wheels support predictable handling and more even tyre wear. They are especially worth checking when the vehicle has developed vibration, steering pull or recent suspension changes.
- Suspension and ride. We inspect shocks and other suspension components for wear, damage or setup concerns. Touring loads and off-road use can make existing suspension weaknesses more noticeable.
- Mechanical reliability. We review servicing needs and obvious faults across the vehicle before longer travel. The goal is to reduce avoidable surprises by dealing with known concerns while the vehicle is still at the workshop.
